Partnership is key in our child friendly city approach
In January 2023, HRH Princess Catherine visited Leeds to launch the Shaping Us campaign. The aim is to increase awareness of the unique importance of early childhood and how it shapes the rest of our lives. The princess also spoke to individuals involved in Child Friendly Leeds, launched by the late Queen in 2012. The Princess of Wales spoke to our ambassadors and colleagues stating; ”[Having] children and young people at the heart of the city and community here is really impressive.
