What is Wish 7?
Wish 7 in the Council
There is work taking place within Leeds City Council, lead by our ‘Wish Leads’, on Wish 7 right now. The short-term priorities are:
- making sure the offer of things to do is communicated to families
- include children’s ideas in the design of activities
- ensure care-experienced children have lots of opportunities
The long-term priorities are:
- evaluate and learn from Leeds 2023 Year of Culture
- work with the University of Leeds on a research project into schools’ cultural engagement
- work as a team with Leeds Cultural Education Partnership (Leeds33), Leeds Music Education Partnership (LMEP), Breeze, Active Leeds and other partners
