The festive period is back and we are excited to bring you the Child Friendly Leeds Winter guide, giving you free and low-cost ideas of things to do across the city.
This winter season, partners brought smiles and warmth to the community by gifting 120 beautifully curated gift bags to children. Each bag was thoughtfully packed by Scent Salim with perfume and scents, sweet treats, and books from the BookTrust – a perfect blend of joy, learning, and fragrance.
Leeds Heritage Theatre’s innovative work experience program offers young people a chance to feel inspired and valued as they explore various arts industry roles. Through practical activities and direct engagement with employees, students will gain confidence and motivation to pursue a creative career.

Leeds Half-Term October – What to do with the family this half term
Compassionate Leeds is set up to support schools and education settings across the city as they work toward becoming more trauma-informed. This will enable settings to realise and recognise the wide spread and unequal impact of adversity and trauma so that they can effectively respond to trauma to enable healing and to prevent further harm.
