LS18 Rocks
LS18 Rocks is a growing community of musicians of all ages and abilities. They provide band sessions as well as 1 to 1 lessons.

The Shine Project
The Shine Project works with girls aged 11-18 around LS10 and LS11.

ArtForms – City of Leeds Youth Music Groups
The groups offer the highest level of music-making opportunities to young people in Leeds aged 19 and under. They meet weekly during the Leeds term time.
Some fee waivers and bursaries are available for those who need them.

Playhouse Youth Theatre
Weekly drama sessions for 8-21 year olds, led by outstanding professional artists and support workers.

Culture Club
In collaboration with Sable Radio, Thackray Museum of Medicine’s new weekly youth club, for people aged 16-21 from East Leeds, will focus on exploring healthcare and medical histories through creative media.

LS-TEN Leeds Youth Alliance
LS-TEN is a charitable organisation that run sports, community and education programmes, including skateboarding. Their free coached sessions happen every Saturday morning in parks across the city! Drop in, give it a try and become a part of our skate community. Currently operating at Roundhay Park, Potternewton Park and Crossflats Park.

Re:establish
During the week Re:establish runs regular activities in Beeston & Holbeck for 7 to 19 year olds. The youth club/drop-ins are on a Monday and Thursday evening 5.30 until 7pm. There are 1-1, group and youth committee sessions with a lot of art, cooking and sporting activities to develop fun spaces in which young people can develop their social skills and have a safe place in which to belong.

The Tribe
The ethos of The Tribe Youth Group is to offer a safe, accessible place for young people in East Leeds (Cross Gates). They encourage young people to talk with confidence, have fun, get creative and make a difference for others.

Leeds Mencap
Leeds Mencap is an independent charity with the aim of improving the lives of those with learning disabilities in Leeds. They run clubs and activities for children and young people aged 8 to 25, including three youth groups for children and young adults with a learning disability and a youth group for young people who have a sibling with a learning disability. During the school holidays we run weekly Playschemes for children and young people with learning disabilities, with varying age ranges between 4 and 18. We also offer a variety of support for families – with support that can be accessed over the phone, in-person or online to suit your needs.

1st Micklefield Scout Troop
The Micklefield Scouts troop run Scouts, Cubs and Beavers groups.

Next Generation – Chapel FM
Next Generation programme is Chapel FM Arts Centre’s weekly sessions. It’s for young people to get involved with all aspects of our vibrant building, open to anyone from East Leeds aged 11-14 and 15-18. No previous experience needed.

Getaway Girls
Getaway Girls is a charity which empowers girls and young women to support each other to build confidence, resilience, raise aspirations, develop new skills and take positive risks in a positive environment which offers co-operation and support. They run a few different groups for ages 11-25.

CATCH Leeds
CATCH is a charity that puts children and young people at the heart of what they do. They have a universal open access offer, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, reaching over 1,000 individual children and young people each year (ages 9 – 17), through centre based play and youth work, sports provision, arts and music programmes, dance, multi-media, holiday activities and outreach in the local neighbourhood, and projects which empower, inspire and build confidence and resilience.

Kidz Klub
Kidz Klub work with children in every area of their lives , in their communities, homes and schools. They currently work with 1250+ children and their families sharing the hope and love of Jesus with them.

LS14 Trust
All the LS14 Trust activities are about getting together, getting involved, trying new things and feeling well. The LS14 Trust also run the Pantry and Cafe, which is an open and welcoming space that plays host to lots of resident groups, including Climate Action Seacroft gatherings, craft groups and lots more!

LS14 Playbox
The LS14 Trust run the Playbox which is a shipping container full of play equipment that brings the community together for fun and play.

Kirkstall Valley Elfins and Pioneers – Woodcraft Folk
Woodcraft Folk help children and young people to understand important issues about the world: the environment, world debt, global conflict and sustainable development. The work they do supports our young members to build a peaceful, fairer world, and to develop their own ideas, their self-confidence and their skills.

The Market Place services are free, confidential and available for 11-25 year olds in Leeds. They offer a range of services including one to one support, counselling, group-work and our drop-in.

City Of Leeds give young people (aged 10-18) an experience that will help them grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment. Through various activities and adventures, we learn teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline, honesty and how to be the best version of ourselves.

Brave Words Theatre and Spoken Word
Brave Words have dedicated themselves to telling stories with a social purpose and creating adventures in the arts that invest in children, young people and communities.
Their youth theatres focus on creating an environment that is fun and welcoming, where children and young people can learn performing skills, make new pieces of theatre, grow their confidence and express themselves creatively.
There are separate groups for 4-7 year olds, 8-11 year olds and 12+ years.

Hunslet Club
The Hunslet Club is a not-for-profit youth organisation whose top priority is to serve as a safe place for young people (aged 8-18) in and around Leeds.
The activities range from Rugby and Football, to Gymnastics and Ballet and much more. Newcomers are always welcome. The youth club also gives young people a safe place to socialise, relax and most importantly, have fun.

Circus Leeds
Circus Leeds is a charity who offer a safe and supportive environment for everyone in Leeds to learn the art of circus skills. From diablo to unicycles, tight-wire to juggling balls, there’s lots of stuff to try out. They run sessions for children aged 7-16+, such as ‘Aerial’ and ‘Circus Club’.

SPACE
Leeds Space Network (SPACE) run weekly groups for young people at high school and provide consistent support and opportunities for young people and empowers them to make the best choices towards a better future. There are games and craft activities as well as a time to discuss issues, which affect the young people we are working with. As well as trips and residential opportunities.

Leeds Society for Deaf and Blind People
There are a variety of groups and clubs who meet regularly at the Centre. These include a weekly over 55 group, social club, drama, and parent and child activities. They offer craft activities, games, and chat, including an hour of BSL chat

Deaf EXperience
Deaf EXperience campaign nationally for deaf children to have better access to education. The DDYH (DEX Deaf Youth Hub) is for deaf young people between the ages of 11 and 17, who live in West Yorkshire. There are lots of fun activities like: visit outdoor activity centres; bowling; making pizzas. There will always be interpreters to support everyone to chat and make friends.

Codswallop CIC
Codswallops CIC have lots of different sessions each week for children and young people aged 5+. Including creative, artistic and sociable community groups, drama classes, family days, choirs and orchestras. Their Jitterbugs Disco Club for children aged 5-11 years is SEND friendly.

Oakwood Church
Oakwood Church have three different sessions for different age groups (from 4-13 years). There are games and food with time to explore The Bible, as well as regular social nights, such as bowling and trampolining.

Buzz
Buzz is a structured weekly group for young people with learning disabilities (aged 14-25) including movement, drama, visual art and sensory sessions.

Yorkshire Dance Youth
Yorkshire Dance Youth hold weekly creative dance class for young people age 11-19 who live in LS14. The group meet once a week on a Wednesday, to develop dance skills, create routines and have fun. Sessions are led by our professional dance artists and take place at Kentmere Community Centre.
