Our latest project

Helping more children and families to access venues and events in Leeds, the Carriageworks theatre worked with organisations to ensure foster families could take part in pre-show activities and a performance of Treasure Island.

The theatre worked with Fostering Leeds and theatre company Mind the Gap in 2013 to organise two fun sessions and performances for children and their foster families, at no cost to the participants.

What difference has it made?

63 children and their families took part, had the chance to gain new experiences and enjoy a trip to the theatre.
