Leeds Pupils Campaign With Go-Givers

The Go-Givers’ Make a Difference Challenge supports key stage 2 children (aged 7 – 11) in leading a social action campaign on a local, national or global issue of their choice. The challenge was piloted with eight schools from the Temple Newsam Learning Partnership in 2012, with 31 primary schools taking part  in 2014.

Child friendly Leeds supports the project because it puts children and young people’s voice at its centre. Leeds children have chosen a wide variety of social and environmental issues to campaign on, from helping to reverse the decline in the bee population to changing attitudes towards people with disabilities.

Go-Givers recently produced this video video about the project. It features three Leeds primary schools: Valley View Primary in Rodley, Bramley St Peters and Ashfield Primary in Otley.
