CIVIC – bringing together schools from Leeds and Lille

CIVIC, or citizenship in action through the voice and influence of children, is a transnational education project funded by the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning programme which aims to support active citizenship by young people in cities and schools.
The project brings together partners in the twin cities of Leeds and Lille, through an exchange of best practices in giving children and young people voice and influence in the decisions that affect their lives.
As part of the project a film has been made to let people know about the project and to show what has been achieved for young people from both cities by sharing ideas and working together.
