Mindmate

Mindmate is a fantastic Leeds based website for young people, families and the people/professionals who support them. Mindmate’s mission is to help you explore mental wellbeing and mental health issues by offering information and also providing support on services that are available.


Leeds City Council

The Leeds City Council children and Family division boast a variety of services to positively effect young people in Leeds. These are services such as: Schools, Children Centre’s, Social Care, Child Friendly Leeds, Healthy Holidays and Youth Democracy. Each of the programmes or departments offer different ways to improve your experiences in Leeds.


Place 2 Be

Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity with over 25 years’ experience working with pupils, families and staff in UK schools. They lead on the annual #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek and offer official free resources for primary and secondary-age children and young people will help you take part in the Week. 


Breeze Leeds

Breeze Leeds is the website for all children and young people aged 0-19 from Leeds who are looking for positive things to do. On the website are all the places and events together so that you can find out some more information on them. Although BreezeLeeds.org is run by Leeds City Council, the information included here comes from all sorts of organisations and partners working positively with children, young people and their families in Leeds, not just the Council.


Active Leeds

Active Leeds provides the Leeds City Council health and fitness provision for the people of Leeds. They have worked hard to come up with a vision for Leeds to be the best city to be active in. Active Leeds has 17 venues, 13 gyms, 14 pools and over 400 classes available every week.


Visit Leeds

Visitleeds provides information on the best attractions that Leeds has to offer. They have got everything covered from outdoor adventuresmarvellous museumsart galleriesincredible animalsfood and drink and where to stay – the ultimate guide to family fun in Leeds.


Leeds Inspired

The Leeds Inspired ‘What’s On’ website lists thousands of events happening in Leeds every year. You’ll find exhibitions, dance, performance, films and family events; they love to highlight new independent events alongside the more established to show you the full picture of things to do in Leeds.


Leeds Youth Voice

Leeds Youth Voice offer activities to people who are between the ages of 10 to 18 years old. The range of activities and programmes are to help you have your say. Leeds Local Offer

The Leeds Local Offer brings together information about all the services available in the city for children and young people aged 0-25 who have special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities. For regular updates and resources, please join the Leeds Local Offer Facebook group here.


Baby Week Leeds

Baby Week has gathered updates and resources on free to low cost services available from mainstream, third sector and grassroots organisations for parents, carers, families and professionals to access during lockdown. From their resource page to the informative blogs, they have something for everyone looking for services, fun groups and how to get help.

Kooth.com is commissioned by the NHS, Local Authorities, charities and businesses to provide anonymous and personalised mental health support for Children and Young People. With over 4000 logins per day, we provide end to end support whatever the need.


Centre for Early Childhood

The Royal Foundation launched the Centre for Early Childhood to promote the importance of early years. More recently with the #ShapingUs campaign. There are many national resources, information and links for you to go through.
