Charlotte believes that children should have a good balance of time spent playing in nature and learning from our natural world. After years of studying the benefits and values of Forest school and nature connection to support holistic development, Charlotte now offers various sessions and workshops which focus on learning, development, health and wellbeing.

When we give our children nature play opportunities from a young age we are shaping their minds to develop a connection with our natural world. This offers life long learning opportunities and a desire to care for our planet, other living things and ourselves.

The Seasons Forest School “leave no trace” policy means that we teach children that if we use our natural environments to play and learn in we don’t damage the environment, we leave no trace (e.g fires or litter) and we aim to continue to improve natural spaces for future generations.

At Seasons, we form a community for climate action and care for our natural world. Children regularly participate in gardening, learn about flora, fauna and looking after wildlife. We have regular themed workshops such as bird box and bird feeder making. We also connect with nature for emotional development and wellbeing, focusing on using nature as a stress management and mindfulness tool for all.
