The Employment and Skills Service proudly supports the Apprenticeship Ambassador Network, a community of current and former apprentices who share their experiences to inspire the next generation. By telling their stories, ambassadors help students understand real career pathways while showcasing the pride and impact of apprenticeships. This network also strengthens connections between employers, apprentices, and education providers.
Leeds Business Anchors is a partnership of large businesses in Leeds that come together to increase their collective contribution to the city and identify practical interventions they can take as a group that will deliver local benefits. Baby Week is putting on over 50 sessions free or low cost at Leeds Libraries, Children Centres and Libraries this November.
Compassionate Leeds is set up to support schools and education settings across the city as they work toward becoming more trauma-informed. This will enable settings to realise and recognise the wide spread and unequal impact of adversity and trauma so that they can effectively respond to trauma to enable healing and to prevent further harm.
