Who will they become this summer? at Leeds Museums and Galleries

The fun and sunshine of the summer holidays presents children and young people with plenty of opportunities to get out and explore the places and spaces in Leeds. This year the summer holidays are no exception, with Leeds Museums and Galleries coming together to ask who the children and young people of Leeds will become this summer!

Nine fascinating attractions are offering children and young people the chance to let their imaginations run wild as they take part in a range of fantastic activities and events. They can become an astronaut and launch off towards Leeds discovery centre, or be a mummy in the (pyra)middle of Ancient Egypt at Leeds City Museum.

From the Leeds Art Gallery that’s unlocking creativity through its ‘SatARTday Club’ and ‘Paint Yourself’ events, to Lotherton Hall that’s offering a ‘Summer Sixties Picnic’ retro family day out, the breadth of activities means there is something for every young person to enjoy.

Full details on all the summer events at Leeds Museums and Galleries are available here: http://www.leeds.gov.uk/events/Pages/eventsResults.aspx?t=201.
