1.Easter Family Art Workshops at The Tetley
Have a break from the Easter eggs, and take part in a free family art workshop exploring themes around The Tetley’s current exhibitions of Winter Garden and Picture Book. Participants in each workshop will work together to create a piece of work such as an abstract jigsaw or a collage. Don’t miss a trip to the Tetley Bar and Kitchen too afterwards! Find out more here http://thetetley.org/easter-art-workshops/

2.Easter Egg activity trail at Lotherton Hall
Take part in an Easter Egg Activity Trail at Lotherton Hall just outside Leeds. Pick up a trail sheet and follow the clues around the house, bird garden and grounds and see what you can find. The Easter Egg Trail takes place between the 25 March and 17 April. The trail is free, but normal admission prices apply.

3.Have a Day Out at Harewood House
Harewood House is now the home of lots of farm animals as part of their new Farm Experience. As well as the farm animals, Harewood House also has Humboldt penguins, which you can see being fed every day at 3:30pm and the beautiful pink flamingos. Over Easter you can have a go at making badges in the Bird Garden (£1 charge), or take part in a Spring Animal trail around the gardens and grounds.

4.Go Easter Mad at Stockeld Park
One of our favourite days out is a trip to Stockeld Park near Wetherby. Their Easter spectacular is an unmissable day out for all the family with roller skating, go karting, climbing, the Maze, and best of all the Enchanted Forest, with its new Dragon! The Easter Adventure is on between 23 March to 17 April.

5.Watch Medieval Jousting at the Royal Armouries!
Enjoy the excitement of watching medieval jousting at the Royal Armouries over the Easter weekend, as renowned knights battle it out for the coveted Sword of Honour and Queen’s Jubilee Trophy. An event not to be missed! Find out more here https://www.royalarmouries.org/events/calendar/2016-03-25/easter-tournament-2016
