Leeds Business Anchors is a partnership of large businesses in Leeds that come together to increase their collective contribution to the city and identify practical interventions they can take as a group that will deliver local benefits. In June 2025, five members of Leeds Business Anchors delivered a pilot work experience week, which was ringfenced for care-experienced students.
We’re thrilled to share the launch of Our Story in a free digital format. It is a powerful comic anthology created by young people aged 15–25 with lived experience of the care system in Leeds.

Baby Week is putting on over 50 sessions free or low cost at Leeds Libraries, Children Centres and Libraries this November.
Compassionate Leeds is set up to support schools and education settings across the city as they work toward becoming more trauma-informed. This will enable settings to realise and recognise the wide spread and unequal impact of adversity and trauma so that they can effectively respond to trauma to enable healing and to prevent further harm.
